VISUAL MIND 13.02.18

Art and wellbeing week, that was celebrated a couple of weeks ago got me thinking. Talking about how you feel inside and out can be really difficult, illustrating that makes it a universal language. This year I am taking the time out to explore this in a visual nature. This is using abstraction and chaos in my work, this by no means makes me an expert on the matter but hopefully I can provide an insight into the mind of a person with severe anxiety if nothing else. I started working on the idea of organise and chaos, using controlled lines and chaotic lines in this piece. The mind can have everything ordered and controlled but as soon as you leave your safe space chaos begins.

Work in progress, one of a series exploring the juxtaposition between inside and outside the mind.
