A collaboration with Polish born author Aleksandra Rychlicka. This weekend long exhibition was a response to two translated chapters of a novel. The work formed an immersive installation in a setting resonant with the artists interpretation of Recount Me Always Anew. The audience was invited to enter the house and interact with performance characters, search through the belongs placed there, even make a cup of coffee whilst enjoying a Polish treat from the pop up deli. Once an interaction was made with the deli staff they were provided with a secret code that helped them gain entry into the Secrets Writers Room.

This was an experiment into using the universal language of the visual to provide an accessible platform for contemporary foreign literature, uniting audiences that would not usually mix with each other to communicate to with each other.
